While being a semi-grounded University of Alabama football fan is, in theory, possible to accomplish, I find the reality of the struggle to be overwhelming at times. I once asked my father if any Bama fans live to an On Golden Pondesque old age, and, he simply responded with a firm, "No." Sometimes we all ask questions to which we already know the answer.

I heart the French Open
Here's French Open hopeful and last year's junior champion Alize Cornet! I'm glad she's 18 now so I don't feel like the Larry Clark of sportsbloggers for posting her. She has a toughie tomorrow, to say the least.
